Welcome to The Proud Smile! We are a family organization dedicated to helping young people smile big, and smile proud!
Everybody deserves to have a smile they are proud to show off!
The Proud Smile works with families and dental providers to fund orthodontia for high school students. We work with these students to create a plan that allows them to fund part of their care and let us worry about the rest. We understand that orthodontia is expensive. We also understand that having a smile to show off is important and boosts our confidence.
We want to work together to fund your orthodontic care.
How It Works
We will fund the majority of your care and you will make a contribution as well. These contributions will look different for each family. Sometimes the contribution is of monetary value and sometimes it is giving back to the community through service and volunteer work. We know that something worked for is something valued.

Application
To get started, simply contact us and we will send you an application.

Interview & Acceptance
Once we have reviewed your application, we will schedule and interview with you and your guardians. After the interview, we will go through an approval process. If approved*, we will then sit down and make the payment and treatment plans with you.
*please note that an interview does not constitute an agreement.

Consultation
Once you have met with the orthodontists and decided on a care plan, The Proud Smile will approve your treatment and pay the full cost up front.

Treatment Begins
During your treatment, you have several responsibilities. Such as seeing a dentist every six months for cleanings, maintaining oral hygiene, being diligent with at home orthodontia (elastics, expanders, etc.).

Once you’re done with treatment we want you to continue to wear your retainers and maintain your beautiful smile, you earned it!
